Every 18 months we, as a club, are fortunate to host a casino. This means that we have volunteers from our membership that work a two-day event and through the proceeds we are able to access monies that keep our costs down for memberships. Monies received from this event also cover several other costs for the season of dancing and we are able to afford a wonderful workshop and ball which is held in February of each year at The Sutton Place Hotel here in Edmonton.

The casino dollars also help keep expenses down for adult and youth members dancing at out-of-town events. Each adult member is entitled to a total of $500 per season to attend workshops in and out of Province. Youth members are entitled to a total of $200 per season. If you plan to attend a workshop out of Province, the Casino Chair requires three months' notice. In all cases, in order to receive reimbursement, requests must be submitted within 30 days following the event. Please note that the funds will only pay for Workshop Registration and Accommodation.
