Casino Dollars & Volunteering
Our next casino will be sometime in 2018.

Every 18 months we, as a club, are fortunate to host a casino. This means that we have volunteers from our membership that work a two-day event and through the proceeds we are able to access monies that keep our costs down for memberships. Monies received from this event also cover several other costs for the season of dancing and we are able to afford a series of social events, including a wonderful workshop and ball which is held in February of each year.

1. Individuals, who want to sign up for an achievement class (at T.A.C. summer school) where they will be adjudicated at the end of the session, are eligible to apply for casino dollars to cover travel and one or two nights' accommodation. Please note that the cost of the workshop or costs related to adjudication will not be covered.
2. Casino dollars can be used to pay for group transportation (i.e. bus) to a workshop/event. Within Alberta, dancers can have their travel expenses (i.e. bus) and one night accommodation covered by casino dollars, providing they perform at the event i.e. we do a performance (such as a ceilidh act) as a 'group'.
